Drake Doremus, Director
Drake Doremus, 25, a recent graduate of the American Film Institute, is the youngest fellow to be accepted into the program at the highly lauded institution. Doremus’s many award-winning shorts have screened at festivals across the country. Doremus, an Orange County native, has been performing improv and sketch comedy since he was six, and began directing when he was twelve. In high school he wrote, produced, and directed four plays. He’s also studied with respected improvisational teachers, Michael Gellman, and Gary Austin, a founding member of The Groundlings, along with his mother, Cherie Kerr. He’s received praise for his short films in the LA Times, New York Times, Hollywood Reporter, and Variety. In his young career, Doremus has had the pleasure of working with seasoned, and diverse actors such as Danny DeVito, Sally Field, Jason Biggs, and Johnny Knoxville.
Jonathan Schwartz, Producer
Upon starting what was then known as Crispy Films in 2004, Jonathan quickly set up the novel MARK TWAIN REMEMBERS at DreamWorks with Director Steven Spielberg. Jonathan secured Academy Award winning screenwriter Ronald Harwood (The Pianist) to adapt the book, and it is currently being set up with Clint Eastwood attached to direct in 2009.
In 2007, Jonathan Executive Produced the critically acclaimed WRISTCUTTERS, A LOVE STORY, starring Patrick Fugit, Shannyn Sossamon, Tom Waits, Will Arnett and Leslie Bibb. WRISTCUTTERS premiered in competition at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for several awards including Best First Feature and Best Screenplay at The Independent Spirit Awards .
In 2008, Jonathan Co-Produced the Michael Haneke remake of his film FUNNY GAMES, starring Naomi Watts, Tim Roth and Michael Pitt, which was mentioned in several top movies of the year lists. Later that year he produced the comedic love story SPOONER, starring Mathew Liilard and Norah Zehetner and directed by Drake Doremus. SPOONER will have its world premiere in competition at the Slamdance Film Festival in January 2009.
Super Crispy Entertainment recently hired acclaimed independent producer Andrea Sperling (HARSH TIMES, BUT I’M A CHEERLEADER), who is currently overseeing Mark Ruffalo’s directorial debut in the film SYMPATHY FOR DELICIOUS.
In March 2009, SUPER CRISPY and Jonathan will begin production on Academy Award nominated Director Peter Weir’s THE WAY BACK, based on the acclaimed book THE LONG WALK.
Production on Brazilian Director Fellipe Barbosa’s CASA GRANDE is tentatively planned to begin in summer 2009.
Super Crispy continues to develop, produce and finance quality material of all genres, with over 20 projects in development.
Lindsay Stidham, Screenwriter

Lindsay holds an MFA in screenwriting from the American Film Institute as well as a BA in journalism and Spanish. Lindsay has been writing stories, creating her own radio programs, and putting on plays for just about as long as she can remember. She has completed six screenplays to date, and was chosen as a finalist in the Warner Brothers mentorship program.
Additionally, Lindsay has had documentary stories featured on statewide NPR and PBS programs. She credits the A.F.I. and much of the fantastic team of Spooner for helping her continue to hone her skills as a storyteller. In addition to her work as a screenwriter, Lindsay performs comedy and improv, produces features, web television, and award-winning shorts; and follows the burgeoning world of new media production for Tubefilter News.
