SPOONER is wrapping up it’s festival year before distribution likely in 2010. The film is hitting up some great venues, and if you are in Seattle or the Midwest, you’re in luck.

Catch SPOONER next weekend in Tacoma, Washington with the Q and A to follow with the director and screenwriter. The film is featured as the festival’s premiere night movie. You can buy tickets on Tacoma’s site here.

Later in October, SPOONER will be hitting the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana. There are four screenings at local theatres throughout Indy. You can get the full schedule here.

In November you can catch SPOONER in St. Louis for the St. Louis International Film Festival. More details to come.

Spooner Wins Best Feature at Rainier Independent

SPOONER landed another award this month from the Rainier Independent Film Festival. The film screened with the beautiful backdrop of Mt. Rainier with a variety of Washingtonians coming to town to see the film. The festival dubbed the film Best Narrative Feature, and the O.C. Weekly picked up the nod as well. Thanks Washington, we had a blast.

SPOONER was honored with the Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking Award last week at the 10th annual Newport Beach Film Festival. 51,000 people attended the event that screened 400 films. SPOONER was selected amongst a handful of just 24 winning narrative film.
